Brittany Adams

Senior Consultant

Brittany Adams joined BGS Consulting in 2025 as a Consultant. She graduated from Howard University in 2016 and later earned her MBA from the Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business in 2024. Brittany began her career in accounting and financial management and has since worked with a variety of private organizations and other  high-growth companies.

Brittany brings more than twelve years of experience supporting clients across technology, government contracting, real estate, non-profit, and professional services. She specializes in financial reporting, month-end close optimization, indirect tax compliance, multi-entity consolidations, and audit readiness. 

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys historical documentaries, traveling, running, and baking.

Diane Atwell

Senior Manager

Diane is a Senior Manager at BGS Consulting. Diane has spent her entire 40+ year career in accounting and finance in the local DMV area. She got her start as an accountant at Marriott Corporation in 1982. In 1994, she became the controller for a HVAC company. Then, she joined AMI Capital as assistant controller in 1996. In 1999, she became the controller for Congressional Quarterly, Inc. and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer in 2000. In 2008, Diane was named the first CFO for Avalere Health, Inc. Following Avalere, she started her consulting career with Robert Half in 2014. Then, she was the Director of Finance and Accounting for Learning Without Tears in 2017. She resumed her consulting roles in 2018 with Robert Half, Protiviti, Anderson Frank and KForce. Diane joined BGS in June 2022.

As a Senior Manager, Diane manages client engagements providing support for audit readiness and system implementations.

In her free time, Diane enjoys reading and traveling with her family and friends.

Cassidy Brown

Manager

Cassidy joined BGS as a Manager and brings a strong background in assurance and technology, with experience leading AI and process automation initiatives that improve efficiency and support audit quality.

She earned her Master of Accountancy from Samford University in 2018 and began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Washington, DC. During her time at PwC, she spent five years as an Associate and Senior Associate before transitioning into a manager role within the Assurance Innovation and Technology team in 2023.

Cassidy is known for translating complex ideas into practical, technology-enabled solutions, with hands-on experience in tools such as Alteryx and UiPath.

Outside of work, she stays active at MADabolic, enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and exploring the city, and loves spending time with her family.

Stacey Chang

Manager

Stacey is a Manager at BGS. She has 18 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting and skilled in GAAP/DCAA compliance. Before joining BGS, she worked with several start-ups and help them streamline the accounting process and optimize financial performances. She also successfully managed numerous financial system implementations and ERP integrations. With a strong commitment to integrity and accuracy, she brings the analytical expertise and strategic insight to every financial challenge and needs.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, running and spending time with her family.

Claire Chao

Senior Marketing Associate

Claire is a recent 2024 graduate from Bucknell University. She studied international relations and was involved in campus Greek life as well as mentorship programs. Claire grew up in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and New York where she has gained different cultural backgrounds while pursuing several internships. During the summer of 2023, she partook in Under Armour’s internship program as a supply chain management intern, obtaining practices in operations.

Since joining the BGS team in June of 2024 as a marketing associate, Claire will be utilizing her prior experience toward the recruiting and administrative functions of the firm, allowing our team to grow and reach a wider audience. In addition, she will continue her path of learning as a young professional.

In her free time, Claire enjoys restaurant and café hopping, traveling, photography, cooking, and partaking in new experiences.

Julia Corrigan

Director of Recruiting

Julia is the Director of Recruiting at BGS. She has 26 years of agency recruiting experience in the Accounting & Finance areas at search firms in Philadelphia, Baltimore and the DC Metro area. Julia started in agency recruiting right out of college and is really grateful that she found her niche so early in life!

Julia specializes in providing candidates and bringing in new searches to the BGS team. She enjoys helping her candidates find that great next step and enjoys helping her clients find a great fit for their teams.

In her free time,  Julia volunteers at her church by teaching 2^nd grade religious education and she also enjoys spending time with her husband and their dachshund puppy, Otto.

William Craig

Director

William Craig joins BGS as a director and will oversee the firm’s managed IT services and technology advisory offerings—driving modernization, cloud optimization, security maturity, and post-acquisition integration.

William has more than 20 years of experience leading technology transformation for private equity portfolio companies and growth-focused organizations, specializing in aligning IT strategy with business goals, strengthening cybersecurity posture, and scaling infrastructure for operational efficiency and value creation. He has directed M&A carve-outs, IT due diligence, and compliance programs (including NIST 800-171 and HIPAA) across healthcare, manufacturing, and transportation, managing IT budgets exceeding $8M and supporting environments with 5,000+ distributed users. A U.S. Navy veteran, he holds CISSP, CISM, and ITIL Foundations certifications and is recognized for translating complex technology decisions into clear business outcomes.

In William’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to amusement parks, and learning new things.

Matt Dickason

Manager

Upon graduation from Longwood University in 2014, Matt played one season of semi-professional baseball before transitioning into accounting. In 2016, Matt joined KPMG Norfolk as an audit associate where he served as an associate and senior associate for a total of 4 years. Matt then joined the BGS team in 2021. 

As a Manager at BGS, Matt serves clients for various accounting and finance roles based on client needs. Matt also assists with business development by utilizing his network in the Virginia Beach area.

In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with family, golfing, and is a co-host of a fantasy football podcast.

Andrew Eckert

Consultant

Andrew is a Consultant at BGS. After graduating from Hiram College in 2012, Andrew worked as a master electrician for multiple theaters. Andrew worked for five years in public accounting before coming to BGS. 

As a Senior Consultant, Andrew supports BGS clients, providing audit services and operations management assistance.  He focuses on construction and revenue recognition and SOX support. 

In his free time, Andrew enjoys reading books and gardening.

Brian Ehlinger

Senior Consultant

Brian is a Senior Consultant at BGS. After graduating from University of St. Thomas (Houston) in 2016, Brian worked as an Assurance Associate up to Senior performed and in-charged Financial Statement Audits, Employee Benefit Plan Audits and Review Engagements.

As a Senior Consultant at BGS, Brian provides corporate accounting consulting services to our clients and assist the consulting firm with business development and recruiting efforts. Brian serves as a project senior and works with multiple BGS resources.

In his free time, Brian enjoys photography and spending time with his family.

Nicko Esherick

Recruiting Manager

Nicko is a Recruiting Manager at BGS Consulting. He is an experienced recruiter, with close to 5 years of permanent placement recruiting which has focused on the accounting and finance industry. He has worked with numerous Fortune 500, start-up and mid-market companies on placing people at the entry level to CFO seats. He also has experience with General Counsel searches for energy and media companies in the DC and NYC areas.

Nicko coaches travel basketball teams in his free time as well as enjoying golf and basketball.

Jodi Folta

Senior Manager

Jodi Folta is a seasoned finance leader providing advisory and financial accounting services to clients across industries. She draws on extensive experience from Fortune 500 companies and her tenure at Arthur Andersen, where she earned her CPA.  Jodi has actively managed every facet of accounting operations including monthly close and consolidations and her expertise includes technical accounting, internal controls (SOX), global operations and financial reporting.  She has successfully led complex projects including acquisition integrations, system implementations and process improvements.

Jodi joined BGS to apply her broad knowledge in an advisory capacity, working alongside clients as a trusted partner to navigate complex challenges, strengthen operations, and drive results.

In her personal time, she loves time spent with family and friends and enjoys cooking, traveling, and serving as a handler for her church’s comfort dog ministry.

Jim Galus

Manager

Jim is a Manager at BGS. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2013, he went to work in the audit group at KPMG Detroit for three years. He later joined the Siegfried Group as a road warrior consultant traveling across the United States working on clients in various industries and in numerous functional roles. After three years with Siegfried, Jim joined BGS in 2021.

As a senior consultant at BGS, Jim provides accounting and financial reporting support to our clients, combining his audit background with years of consulting experience. Jim has experience at both public and private clients.

In his free time, Jim enjoys rooting for Michigan sports and traveling.

Riley Garcia

Consultant

Riley is a Business Development Senior Associate here at BGS. Prior to joining in June 2023, he worked in the Human Capital Management Industry. He gained valuable experience in sales and client relationship management. Riley attended James Madison University where he graduated with a degree in Marketing.

Since joining BGS, Riley has been a contributor to the back-office operations including business development, client relationship management, and recruiting. Riley brings an enthusiastic and eager approach, striving to further cultivate and grow strong relationships with BGS clients.

In his free time Riley enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing golf, and traveling.

Cameron Giuseppe

Business Development Associate

Cameron is a Business Development Associate at BGS. Before joining the team full-time, Cameron interned with BGS for two summers, gaining experience in client outreach, market research, and business development initiatives. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2025 with a degree in Business Management.

As part of the Business Development team, Cameron supports the firm’s growth efforts by helping identify and pursue new client opportunities.

Outside of work, Cameron enjoys golf, spending time outdoors, and watching sports with friends.

Katelyn Giuseppe

Recruiting Associate

Katelyn recently graduated from the University of South Carolina in May of 2023. In college, Katelyn played club volleyball and was involved in Panhellenic leadership roles in which she grew her communication and recruiting skills.

As a Recruiting Associate, Katelyn collaborates with the recruiting team to find, prep, and develop relationships with candidates. She works hard alongside the team to cater to the needs of our clients.

In her free time, Katelyn enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Rex Hampton

Controller

Rex is a Manager at BGS Consulting. After graduating from the University of Virginia with
honors, he joined KPMG as an auditor for over 4 years. He is a CPA and has over 25 years of
accounting and finance experience.

Rex joined BGS in March of 2023 and he plans to serve many of BGS’ dynamic clients using his deep knowledge & experience in accounting and finance. 

In his free time, Rex enjoys exercising and spending time with his family.

Kristie Hepburn

Senior Manager

Kristie is a Senior Manager with BGS specializing in accounting policy and U.S. GAAP application. She has spent the last twelve years of her career working for Fortune 500 Companies in an accounting policy role. In this role she has assisted the accounting staff understand the appropriate accounting treatment for complex transactions especially in the real estate and investment banking industries.

She joined BGS in 2021 and has been assisting clients implement ASC 606. Additionally, she has been a part of project teams that work with clients to bring their financial statements into compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.

In her free time, Kristie enjoys sailing and playing tennis.

John Jacob

Manager

John Jacob joined BGS Consulting in October 2023 and serves as a Manager. He is a veteran of The McLean Group’s valuation services group where he served clients primarily in the government contracting, software, cybersecurity, and healthcare industries.

As a manager, John primarily supports FP&A needs for clients with a focus on management accounting, fund accounting, business valuations, M&A due diligence, forecasting, variance analyses, treasury management, cap table management, and compliance.

John spends most of his free time with his wife and daughter. He enjoys reading, walking, and traveling.

Megan Lambert

Manager

Megan joined BGS Consulting in 2025 as a Manager. She began her career in KPMG’s Financial Services Advisory practice, where she spent five years supporting large global banks such as Bank of America, as well as leading-edge fintech companies.

Megan specializes in total technology transformations and integrations, payments, finance optimization, M&A advisory, and market research. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and brings a strong blend of strategic, technical, and operational expertise to her clients.

Originally from Southern California, Megan is a lifelong surfer who has competed professionally. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, staying active, and training in the gym.

Gerry Lindner

Director

Gerry joined the BGS team in 2021 and provides technical accounting and financial reporting guidance to public and PE-backed high growth clients. At BGS, Gerry has led the cash-to-GAAP conversion of numerous PE portfolio companies and led these organizations through their first financial audit, establishing accounting policy and procedures and GAAP accounting standards. Prior to BGS, for nearly forty years, Gerry provided assurance and advisory services to clients ranging from global Fortune 500 firms to private equity backed start-up companies. As a Partner at Ernst & Young, Gerry worked alongside clients, executives, and their Boards to provide leadership and council on business strategies, mergers and acquisitions, capital transactions, internal control issues, cyber security and information technology matters, external financial reporting, business transformation, management performance, and corporate governance.  He has experience working with numerous industry sectors including consumer products, manufacturing, chemicals and minerals, professional services, technology, government contracting and healthcare. Gerry is currently the vice chair of the board of Junior Achievement of Central Maryland and a member of the Accounting Advisory Board of Loyola University Maryland. Gerry is a Certified Public Accountant.

William McMahon

Business Development Associate

William is a Business Development Associate here at BGS. Before joining BGS, William worked for a healthcare compliance company as a business operations manager, where he was responsible for capturing dozens of new clients, including developing a client target list, sales development, and new client onboarding. William looks to enhance the BGS Business Development team by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities that will contribute to the firm’s growth.

William graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2019 with a degree in History & Political Science. William is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys skiing, sailing, hunting, as well as more conventional sports like golf and tennis.

Tyan Morgan

Senior Consultant

Tyan is a Senior Consultant at BGS. In 2014 she graduated with her Bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Central Florida and started her career in the municipal securities market where she provided post-issuance compliance services to a variety of clients. She later graduated with her Master’s in accounting from the University of Michigan before transitioning to public accounting as an auditor for PWC, then to JBG Smith, a REIT in the Washington DC market, where she performed various accounting functions for a large mix of projects.

Following this she started her career in consulting at The Siegfried Group before joining BGS in 2022 As a Senior Consultant, Tyan utilizes her years of accounting experience to help clients solve a variety of issues and meet their financial goals.

During her free time, Tyan enjoys fitness, traveling, spending time with loved ones, and pursing new hobbies.

Jean Ndene

Help Desk Technician

Jean joined BGS Consulting in 2025 as a Help Desk Technician. He gained experience in providing technical support across hardware, software, and networking environments, assisting users with troubleshooting, system maintenance, and device setup in both office and remote settings.

Having developed a strong foundation in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user support, Jean brings a proactive and solutions-driven mindset to every task. Whether it is addressing technical issues or assisting with system upgrades, he approaches challenges with patience, efficiency, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Since beginning his IT professional career in 2021, Jean has contributed seamlessly to day-to-day operations by ensuring user satisfaction and minimizing downtime. In every role, he remains eager to deepen technical expertise and expand knowledge in new areas of information technology.

Outside of work, Jean enjoys playing guitar, watching documentaries, exploring new technologies and continuously learning to stay up to date in a fast-evolving field.

Daniel Ramirez

System Administrator

Daniel Ramirez joined the Technology Advisory practice in April 2025 as a System Administrator. He previously worked at MorganFranklin Consulting for 10 years, holding various internal IT support roles, as well as providing managed IT services and consulting, including help desk support implementation, system management, monitoring, and migrations.

In his free time, Daniel enjoys watching the local Washington sports teams, photography, and birding.

Bain Storch

Senior Manager

Bain Storch is a Senior Consulting Manager at BGS. Upon completion of his Master of Accounting from UNC Chapel Hill in 2003, Bain began his career as an auditor for Ernst & Young before transitioning to a Fortune 500 consumer-packaged goods corporation. He developed his trademark flexibility while moving between roles in Sales Finance, Excise Tax Accounting, Product Costing, Demand and Marketing Planning, and Discounting Operations. During this time, he also earned an MBA from Wake Forrest University. Bain began his consulting career in 2020 and joined the BGS team in February of 2022.

Bain has a passion for helping clients solve functional issues in their finance and accounting operations. He utilizes his diverse business background to help clients meet their organizational goals.

In his free time, Bain enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his hobbies of golfing, tennis, woodworking, landscape design, and forest management.

John Sprouse

Director

John Sprouse is a seasoned business executive with extensive experience consulting C-suite clients on technology strategy and implementation. With expertise in cloud solutions, Agile delivery, ERP solutions and project management, he has led major finance technology transformations. As a Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting, he drove large technology projects, spearheaded cloud migrations, and led post-merger integrations. Prior to Deloitte, John held executive roles, including CIO positions, where he developed E-commerce platforms, implemented enterprise-wide ERP systems, and optimized business operations. He holds a BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and certifications in AWS Cloud and Project Management.

Kenny Swab

Business Development Manager

Kenny is a Manager on the Business Development team at BGS Consulting. After earning his degree from the University of Virginia, he began his career at MIL Corp, where he focused on government financial accounting and reporting. He later transitioned to the private sector, joining Willow Creek Partners—a real estate and private equity firm—before moving into investment banking with Boxwood Partners.

As a Manager of Business Development, Kenny plays a key role in shaping the team’s strategy and identifying new opportunities for BGS to serve its clients. His strong network and market relationships help expand the firm’s presence, enabling him to build and nurture lasting partnerships with finance executives, private equity groups, business leaders, and entrepreneurs.

In his free time, Kenny enjoys sports (watching and playing) and spending time with his wife and three children.

Tran Tran

Senior Consultant

Tran joined BGS Consulting in 2025 as a Senior Consultant. She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2014 and began her career in public accounting. Prior to joining BGS, Tran held positions at several national and regional firms in the DMV area, including RyanSharkey (later DHG), CrossCountry Consulting, and Riveron.

Tran is a licensed CPA and brings extensive experience serving clients across a range of industries, including fintech, software, pharmaceuticals, and government contracting. She specializes in technical accounting, financial reporting, audit readiness, and ERP system migrations.

Outside of work, Tran is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Christopher Welsh

Manager

As a Manager at BGS, Christopher manages workstreams and teams to support clients during critical times of need. He uses technical and managerial experience, business acumen, and understanding to deliver each client thoughtful, tailored solutions encompassing audit support and readiness, accounting operations management, process improvement and documentation, project management, financial and management reporting, systems implementation support, and technical accounting.

Christopher has served clients of different sizes, in various industries, on many systems, including a regional real estate developer and construction manager, regional senior living operator, and global consumer packaged goods company, utilizing software including QuickBooks, Yardi and Payscan, SAP, Oracle, CaseWare, Microsoft Office suite, and more. Before accounting advisory, he worked four years in audit and earned his bachelor’s in accounting from Portland State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia.

In his free time, Christopher enjoys running, watching movies, and travelling with an emphasis on exploring the United States.

Autumn Wharton

Senior Consultant

Since graduating with her BS in Accounting from Plymouth State University in 2014, Autumn has lived in various locations along the East Coast. She began her career at Cambridge Computer Services, in Waltham, MA where she undertook the role of Logistics Manager. During this role she determined her passion for Accounts Payable. In 2019, after various accounting and operational roles, she took a position as a Global Accounts Payable Associate with Diligent Corporation. In 2021, Autumn joined BGS where she now acts as a Senior Accountant.

Within this position Autumn takes on various client engagements, as well as participates in recruiting activities. Engagements have included billing, KPI Reporting, data migration, and other various operational and managerial accounting activities.

When she’s off, she really enjoys listening to music and dancing.

Scott Wilson

Senior Manager

Scott Wilson is an accomplished professional with 20+ years combined experience across accounting, finance, and consulting, including 10+ years in SEC reporting roles. His industry experience includes healthcare, financial services, solar, and manufacturing. Scott thrives in unique environments, collaborating with diverse audiences by leveraging a deep understanding of people, culture, and individual experiences.

As Senior Consultant for BGS Consulting, Scott served as the acting Director of SOX for Novavax from May 2021 – January 2022, and is currently serving as a senior consultant for business process improvement. He also helped a pre-commercial biotech company through growth and commercialization by advising them on internal controls for their inventory process.

In his free time, Scott enjoys traveling, grilling and spending time with his family.
